1. Reservation & Payment

• The reservation is confirmed only after full payment has been made through our platform by credit card or Interac e-Transfer (Interac upon request).

• Setup and takedown time are included in the reservation. Be sure to allow enough time.

• Any overtime is billed at $75/hour (+tax).

2. Cancellation Policy

• Two weeks or more before the reservation date: full refund

• Between 2 weeks and 48 hours in advance: 75% refund

• Between 48 hours and 24 hours in advance: 50% refund.

• Less than 24 hours in advance: no refund.

• Asile Studio reserves the right to cancel any reservation that does not comply with the rules of use or the venue’s code of conduct, with a refund.

3. Inclusions

• Access to the following equipment: sandbags, apple crates, 1 steamer, 1 rolling clothes rack, 4x8-foot foamcore boards (2 white and 2 black), a 3-step stepladder, and a 10-foot stepladder.

• Wi-Fi is available (performance not guaranteed)

• Access to the following areas:

  • Shooting Area

  • Makeup Area

  • Lounge Area

  • Kitchen

  • Restroom

  • Foyer

    Please note:

  • The studio isn't soundproofed

  • On weekdays, studio managers may be on site at any time in the private office space (additional fees apply for exclusive access)

4. Exclusions

• Private office space not available—or available upon request (additional fee)

• No technical equipment (lighting, tripods, cameras, etc.) is included in the basic reservation. Additional fees apply for any equipment rentals (see the list and prices).

• Parking is not guaranteed. Please refer to the instructions provided with your reservation confirmation for parking advice, and allow plenty of time.

5. Additional Fees

• $75/hour for any overtime.

• Charges for damage to furniture, plants, or fixtures.

• Housekeeping: Everything must be put back in its place, and you must allow time to clean the floors and surfaces before you leave.

6. Studio Rules

Asile Studio's Responsibilities:

• A clean and tidy space

• Being available to answer your questions

Tenant's Responsibilities:

• Please leave the space in the same condition as you found it upon arrival.

• Return the furniture and accessories to their original places.

• Close the windows before leaving.

• Move the plants carefully.

• Take off your outdoor boots in the winter.

• Wear clean shoes indoors.

• Report any damage.

What is prohibited:

• Climbing on or putting your feet on furniture not intended for that purpose (e.g., couches, tables).

• Use products that cause messes or are hazardous (e.g., paint, smoke bombs, chemicals, etc.).

• Smoking or using drugs on the premises.

• Disrupting common areas or using emergency exits.

• Exceeding the maximum capacity of 15 people for photo sessions and 50 people for events.

• Access the studio outside of reservation hours.

• Accessing private areas without authorization (offices and storage areas)

7. Liability & Insurance

• The renter is fully responsible for the people present, the equipment used, and the condition of the studio.

• Asile Studio, its representatives, and employees cannot be held liable for any accident, injury, loss, theft, or damage that occurs during the rental period.

• It is understood that the tenant is responsible for maintaining professional liability insurance coverage of $2 million.

8. Privacy Policy

Access & Protection

• A security camera pointed at the front door to ensure the security of the premises.

9. Using Wi-Fi

• The user agrees not to use the network for illegal purposes and waives any right to seek redress against Asile Studio in the event of a malfunction.

10. Minors

• A responsible adult must be present at all times if minors (under 18) are present.

11. Equipment Reservations

• An equipment reservation form will be emailed to you after you reserve the studio—please return the completed form by email no later than 24 hours before the rental.

• To rent a flash head or continuous light, a security deposit of $600 per item is required at the time of reservation (via Interac e-Transfer to info@asilestudio.com).

• The security deposit will be refunded after the condition of the rented equipment has been inspected—no later than 24 hours after the end of the rental period.

• You will receive an invoice at the end of your rental period for payment of the balance due for the equipment rental.

By booking and using Asile Studio's services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions as well as our privacy policy.
